The
founder, Pallavi Shah had twenty-seven
years of prior experience in the airline industry as Director of Special
Marketing for Air India based in New York, during which she worked with museums,
department stores and corporations creating "one of a kind cultural"
promotions and publicity events to highlight the airline’s destinations. Her
fondness for international cultures & travel encouraged her to try a
different kind of travel service, creating Our Personal Guest.
Founded in 1989, Our Personal Guest is based in New York. We have select representatives in Europe, Asia & Latin America
What
exactly do we do?
We are not
conventional “travel agents” , we
do not book airline tickets and collect commissions from airlines. Nor do we
operate “package tours” or publish a brochure with scheduled departures.
Instead we offer knowledge and service.
We consult
with you to create your custom trip, suited to your time frame and individual
requirements.
Our Personal Guest begins with in depth research about chosen destinations worldwide. Our country study includes a historical, geographical and cultural profile. Next we establish in-country relationships with local travel and non-travel people. After sifting through a world of choices, we create our own reference library of travel highlights.
